Founded in 1972
The Chesapeake Humane Society works to promote the welfare of companion animals in the community through programs and strategies aimed at improving responsible pet ownership and reducing the pet population.
It does not operate its own animal shelter. Rather, it supports the efforts of the Chesapeake animal Control Shelter and other public and private animal shelters in Hampton Roads.
SPAY OR NEUTER YOUR PET IN CHESAPEAKEWe are proud to announce that we have opened up our own spay/neuter clinic in Great Bridge. We have are clinic open 2 days a week for clients that have an appointment. Please click here for more information.
