Mark your calendars for Chesapeake Humane Society's 16th Annual Bark
in the Park &
5k Doggy Dash! This event is our largest fund raising
event of the year; it attracts more
than 10,000 attendees and has become
Chesapeake's most talked about pet event!
5k Doggy Dash This year's Bark in the Park kicks off with a 5k Run for
the first time ever!
Not a runner? That's okay, you can walk in our
1-mile Puppy Trot or just sit back and raise money
for CHS.
You can
enter the 5k or the Puppy Trot with or without a dog, in memory of a
beloved pet,
or in
honor of your cat. Click

This year's day of festivities is slated to include the Radar Run (back
by popular demand), canine demonstrations and contests, animal rescue/welfare
exhibitors, pet-related vendors and loads of fun
for both the two-and
four-legged members of the family!
